Nice To Meet You!

Hello! My name is Hannah and it's very nice to meet you. I've decided to call myself the fashion rookie because I recently moved to New York to study fashion at Parsons the New School for Design. I'm trying to figure out this industry and the city and I thought it would be fun to let others know how it turns out to be. Besides school, I am interning at a showroom. They represent different designers and the company talks with buyers about the different collections. Since moving to New York last August, I have already learned so much. For one, I realized the career path that I truly want to go down. I originally thought I wanted to go into fashion design but I have come to appreciate the beauty of the business side of the industry. Parsons is the perfect place for me because they offer a variety of classes that allow me to learn the business side through a design point of view while continuing to pursue my creative side.
